You are going to be in a new book.
It is called Who s Who in Our School.
Write sentences to answer the interviewer s
questions.
1. What is the most interesting place you have ever visited?
2. Is there anywhere you haven t been that you want to visit one day?
3. What is the best book you have ever read?
4. What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?
5. Have you ever collected anything? How long have you collected it for?
6. Have you decided what you want to be when you are older?
Language aims
Describing experiences: Present perfect tense
Procedure
1 Distribute the worksheets and tell pupils to imagine they are going to be in a book about children at the school.
They read the questions and think of some interesting things that can be written about them in the book.
2 Read the questions with the class, giving examples of the kind of answers they might give, to help less confident
pupils.Allow plenty of time for children to write their answers, and go round helping with vocabulary as necessary.
Answers will vary, but check for correct use of the present perfect tense.
3 Children can work in pairs interviewing each other, one asking the questions and the other replying with the
answers they have written down.They then swap roles.
