2. Radio Communications: systems, networks and components- complex solutions:
   . Designing, developing and testing of tactical radio networks and radio subsystems (CNRN, PRN - BBPR & NBPR, SCRA)
   . Designing and implementing of hardware equipment and applications
   . User and terminal mobility in communications networks
   . Frequency planning, distributing and managing (HF, VHF and microwave)
   . Radio subsystem and networks interoperability
   . Modeling and simulating of radio networks
   . Software Defined Radio, radio-access subsystems, sensor networks

3. Information security in communications systems:
   . Cryptographic systems
   . Cryptographic applications and hardware equipment
   . Generation and distribution of cryptographic data
   . TEMPEST and EMI/RFI protection of hardware systems

4. Communications Software Development:
   . Network management tools and solutions (SNMP, CORBA)
   . Communications software for IP and ATM networks
   . VoIP systems

5. Systems Integration:
   . XML and Web Services
   . Microsoft .NET and Java platforms
   . Systems programming (C/C++) and integration of legacy code

6. Production of selected special networks elements:
