Autonomic Nerve (Palmar Surface)
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Patient position: seated with the
elbow flexed to 90 degrees, forearm
pronated, and wrist in neutral with the
fingers relaxed and spread.
Apply the base of the tape to the
palmar surface of the hand over the
metacarpophalangeal joints of the
third to fourth fingers.
Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex.
As the wrist and fingers are passively
extended, pull the central portion of
the tape with very light to light (15-
25%) available tension and apply the
other end of the tape to anterior
surface of the carpal region.
Apply the end of the Kinesio Tex with
no tension.
Completed Kinesio Tex application
