Subject: Battery Compartment Filler Plate
A filler plate has been designed to close the opening around the battery connector on the W45XT. The filler
plate will help prevent contamination and water from getting into the electrical compartment.
Refer to Figure 1 for details on the fabrication of the filler plate, and Figure 2 for details on its installation.
Note: Two plates used per unit.
WARNING: Batteries contain explosive hydrogen gas. Remove the battery before welding.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to hearings connect the ground for the welder to the battery com-
partment.
