REMOVAL - REFITTING STOP LAMP SWITCH

REMOVAL
Switch off the ignition
.
Remove the trim under the fascia
.
Disconnect the connectors (1) , (2)
.
Remove the switch (3), (4) by pulling it
.
2 -
REFITTING
NOTE :
carry out the operation with the 2 switches at the same time
.
Re-connect the connectors (1), (2)
.
Press the brake pedal by hand
.
Insert the switch (3), (4) fully into its bracket
.
Push the brake pedal to its stop by hand
.
The switch (3), (4) must return with the pedal; this is the adjustment method
.
Fit the trim under the fascia
.
Switch on the ignition
.
Check the lighting of the brake lights
.
