Patient position: seated with the
shoulder slightly abducted and
extended.
Apply the base of the tape to the
spinous process of the thoracic
vertebra at the painful spinal level.
Having the patient rotate the trunk to
the same side, apply the Kinesio Tex
along the intercostal space with no
tension.
Completed Kinesio Tex application
