Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to the flexor surface of the forearm, three finger widths distal to the cubital fossa. Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex and apply the upper 1/3 of the tape with paper-off tension (10%) over the medial portion of the biceps brachii muscle to the inferior aspect ofthe deltoid tuberosity Flex the elbow to 90 degrees and horizontally abduct the shoulder to increase tissue tension. Apply the middle 1/3 of the tape with paper-off tension (10%) from the inferior aspect of the deltoid tuberosity to the sternoclavicular joint. With the arm relaxed and hanging at the side, place the head into extension, while expanding the chest and low back, extending the thoracic. Apply the remaining with paper-off tension (10%) from the sternoclavicular joint to the sternum, following the linea alba to attach to the pubic symphysis. Apply the end of the Kinesio Tex with no tension.
