I am assuming that you have installed a recent distribution of Linux, such as
Red Hat ( http://www.redhat.com/) or Debian
( http://www.debian.org/).
I also assume that you have basic computer skills: using a keyboard and
mouse, etc.
1.4 What this primer does not cover
This primer does not cover installing Linux, using X-Windows, system
administration, compiling programs or using networking tools.
