Many of you think that the main source of income for forums are things like adsense or
people paying monthly membership fees.
Here is the issue with adsense: Its not going to make you any significant money until you have
ten or twenty thousand members.
Can you afford to make your forum a complete labor of love until that time comes...?
More than likely, if you didn t make significant money you would be chasing another bell or
whistle, long before it ever reached 10-20k members....So adsense is not your immediate
answer to being a fulltime forum owner.
You need to be making significant money when you have 500 members, you cant wait till you
have 10k, you ll go broke at it.
Some think the answer is selling classified ad space- but that doesn t work until you have a
ton of traffic and activity because no one responds to the ads, and as others see the slow
movement there your first year, they wont be motivated to pay, so THAt is not the answer...
(Arent you glad you are here learning this? Isnt this saving you months on end of chasing
down rabbit holes? Wink

Whats another myth?
Ah...
Some think its monthly paid memberships. In fact A LOT of people think that.
Not true.
Let me ask; why do you think Allen Says, the owner of the warrior forum, charges $37.00 one
time (for twenty years actually), instead of charging monthly for membership?
Here s why: Because he knows the same thing I do- that forums run in cycles and people
tend to come in and out.... there will NEVER be a time when your whole membership base is
active at once, they come in cycles and participate, and then they go chase another bell or
whistle.
There is only a certain core group that is consistent.
If you have 2k members for example , chances are that only 5 -10% of them are active at any
given time...so monthly memberships don t work, people fall off and chase other things to
quickly... they come back in at different times, but usually the first month you have them is
when they are most active, then 80% go find other interests...though they are still a part of the
forum, just not daily or weekly active...
So What IS the only way you can reach your whole database anytime you want?
Well lets think about it...
What does a person ALSO join when they join your forum?
I wont wait for you to answer, its simple: When they join your forum, they AUTOMATICALLY
go on your forums MAILING LIST .
That s how I made 5k my first MONTH....not in six months....or ten months... with only 500
members by the end of the first month.
They had all come threre through paid reports (As we will demonstrate in the traffic generation
thread)... and they were all buyers... and out of the five hundreds I was able to send an email
my first month and charge $27.00 for a product....
About 100 of those fresh members went and bought the product because the were siked
about their new membership and wanted to be a part of EVERYTHING...just like yours will if
you follow me.
When I sent them the first forum email promoting one of my products around 100 of them
rushed to my wso and started raving about our forum, and guess what that did to my wso?
It supported it. My forum members helped increase the excitement about my wso... and others
bought it too as a result, and others also joined my forum as a result.
So where is the initial income at? How do you start making thousands of dollars from month
ONE?
It's in your forums mailing list.
A forum mailing list is more powerful than an email list, because the members can interact
with you daily on your forum... and you are in closer contact and bonds with them than a guy
who just sends out one way dialogue all the time.
A for4um mailing list is easier to create than an aweber list... Why?
Because look at the HUGE free gift they get, a free membership to a kick but forum... and
every product they buy has ongoing support behind it through the forum...
You don t have to solicit very hard to get a person to join a valuable forum, but you have to
write copy till your fingers fall off in order to sell through a squeeze page.
A person is WAAAY more likely to take up a forum offer, than to take an offer to join
someones aweber list. There is simply CLEAR value in doing so...
And when they join your forum , they go on the forum list...
So that s the first secret.
We are also going to talk about:
Selling Banner Space for CASH- The Telemarketingforum Sells a banner spot for $4k per
year PLUS affiliate commissions. Currrently we only have ONE, which is down ATM, but
that s because I don t WANT it full of banners. The current one we get 4k per year plus
commission for.
Using Your Own Classified Section- There are a myriad of ways to do this and we will talk
about them as dialoguie gets started here...
Selling your own Solo Ads- You can sell other marketers solo ads. Lets say you only send out
one of your own products every 4-6 weeks.
An allowable rate to send emails to me is about twice per week, that means you have 8 shots
per month to email your data base.
If you are only sending out one of your own new products per month, then you have seven
spots per month whereby you can promote other peoples stuff in a myriad of creative ways
from affiliate programs , to straight cash solo ads.
You can create your own WSO (sort of) Review Section- whereby each week in a certain
section of the forum, you review others WSO s or reports...and make money from that section
daily.
Again we are going to talk about a ton of ways to monetize as the dialogue starts in this
thread, and maybe even do some live examples. Heck I don t mind making money while I
make money, and having a forum as you can see enables me to do that...your being in this
class is evidence of that...Which brings me to another point.
You can create Paid classes and section in your forum- I will probably make 10k or more
teaching this class for a month....and it only has 100 members- Why do people pay for this?
Because it s a good program
Because they can l;earn to make money
And because there is something valuable about EXCLUSIVE teaching. Nobody else on the
forum gets to see this class but you, and that creates value that is above and beyond what an
average member or report buyer can receive.
So doing private classes and masterminds is a way that you can make thousands of dollars,
even if you only have a handful of members.
Again, you joined this program, I made thousands of dollars, and in exchange Im going to
teach you how to do it, just like I do.
THIS IS A VALUABLE class!!
So anyway, I hope that stuff got you excited...and I cant wait for someone to start asking
questions so we can start rocking this class.
I do expect haters to come as well for reasons of innocently sabotaging, and you will see first
hand how to deal with THOSE too from yours truly!;)
I don t want to put it all in one post in one day, for reasons that some of you understand and I
wont explain to others in this PARTICULAR post..., but you will eventually understand and as
the program goes on I will reveal more and more...So let me know whats on your mind now...I
