Conventions
The following conventions are used throughout this manual to provide consistent and
systematic access to information:
" GUI buttons, menus and controls are in sans serif font, such as File.
" Modules appear in italics, as do the libraries they are stored in.
" Parameter names appear in bold face, parameter settings using typewriter face and,
port names using italics.
" Programming examples, command names, and constants appear in typewriter face.
" Variables and optional arguments are shown in italic typewriter face,
e.g., set varname value.
" The name of the program is set in italics, e.g., xterm.
