/ \ NOTES:
1. The bag is in excellent condition, color fading seems to be minimal, and there is very little wear and tear on the embroidery.
2. The tassles on the bottom of the bag are madę of silk and are bound in gold or gilt thead. The tassle colors are: Gold (DMC 729), Green (DMC 368), and Red (DMC 347).
3. The seams are on the bottom and right sides.
4. As in some of the other items on display at the V&A, the phrase "satin stitch" does not ref er to the common modern embroidery stitch, but to any stitch that covers the fabric completely and smoothly.
