Materials for Each Child:

2 squares of colored construction paper. 6* x 6"

t piece of yam. 6* or 12* In łength black, white, and brown tempera paints in shallow trays glue

Class Preparatłong:

For this group project, cut two squares of paper. 6" x 6*. for each chikj. Have tape, sossors. and ctothes hangers ready.

Pirectłong:

1.    Make one paint handpnnt on each piece of paper. Allow the paint to dry.

2.    Swap one of your handprints with someone else.

'3. Align and glue the two hands back to back. Allow the glue to dry.

•4. Cut around the hand shape. Ieaving a generous outline, as shown 5. Tape a length of yam to the hands. ś. Tie your pair of hands onto a clothes hanger with several other pairs O

Wear A Heart

Materials for Each Chłld:

red tagboard heart cutout

glitter

seąuins

giue in a tubę

Clags Preparatłong:

Use the pattem on the opposite page to cut a tagboard heart for each child.

Have double-sided sticky tape ready.

Pirectionę:

1.    Squeeze glue onto the heart tn a pattem and sprinkJe on glitter.

2.    Dot glue on the heart and press on sequins. ■3. Leave to dry ovemlght.

*4. Press a piece of double-sided sticky tape to the back so you can wear your heart. Q
