LACE STOLE WITH DAISIEScontinutJ
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAK1NG HAIRPIN LACE:
Step I: I.oom is held with round end up, with crochct hook make a loose ch st.
Step 2: Rernove hook. and slip this st on to lcft prongof loom. Passyarnaround right sideof loom. and across hack. Insert hook into ch st. and puli knot to right until knot is in center of loom. With hook. pick up yarn, and puli it through loop.
Step 4: Tum loom from right to left toward you. removc hook. and puli it back in st on otherside.or pass shank of hook through loom. Pass yarn around right prong. with hook in rcmaining st, pass hook under front of loop on left hand prong. Pick up yarn. and bring through loop— 2 loops on hook.
Step 5: Pick up yarn. and puli through both loops. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have desired number of loops. Break thread. Strip madc.
On left side of strip I of hairpin lace.join yarn with sl st to firsi loop, ch 3 sl st in first loop of strip 2 of hairpin lace. • ch 3. sl st in sccond loop of strip one. ch 3. sl st in sccond loop of strip 2, repeat from * to end of strips one and two. Join rcmaining strips in the same way, always joining on left side. Make 2 strips of hairpin lace for ends of stole, and sew on.
FRINGE: Cut 6 inch lengths of yarn. Fold in half. and draw through loop one on hairpin lace from back side. Draw ends through. and tighten. Place fringe cvcnly across in each loop of hairpin lace. Trim fringe a bit for neatness. Make 4 daisies.color desired. from 3 ply yarn using pattern #560. For lcavcs use green 3 ply yarn. and pattern from Rosę pattern #520. Sew or gluc across each end of stole.
