Thread the 24" taił of pumpkin with a tapestry needle and pass through the center of the pumpkin (1). Wrap the yarn around the side of the pumpkin so that it is covering an area of increase stitches. Pass the needle back down through the center of the pumpkin again (2). pulling tightly so that the pumpkin pulls in. Repeat the stitch, creating all six pumpkin sections. Sew the leaf to the top of the pumpkin, then weave in the end on the bottom of the pumpkin. Thread the taił of the stem and sew that to the top of the pumpkin.
