What are the consequences?
The consequences of medical conditions are almost always mainly psychological. You think and feel things about your illness, and your illness can affect what you think and feel.
The consequences of headache and migraine vary greatly from person to person. What i s unbearableto one person canbetolerable to a n other. However, one thing is very important: if you are suflering from headaches or migraines, do not just tolerate them. You really should seek help and treatment. If you do not, the conseąuences could be serious. Headaches can make you irritable, depressed or, in the worse cases, suicidaL To avoid the long-term effects of headaches, try tofind some remedy. Even if you do not succeed in curing them, just knowing that you have tried to stop them can be comforting, because you feel as if you have madę an effort. Ifyou give in to them, it will often make you feel worse and helpless. Most people, if they try, can help themselves in a variety of health complaints, and taking control of your health is never a bad thing.

During or immediately after a headache or migraine there are some things you should think about. The most important is that you should not operate machinery or drivewith anything other than a mild headache. This maycome as a shock to some of you, w ho, if necessary, will drive with a stron g headache, but you really should not. The main reason is simply that pain is distracting. When in pain, you concentratę on the pain morę than on other things, which is potentially dangerous when driving or usingmachinery.
