NOTĘ : THE FUEL TANK IS POSITIONED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHASSIS SITT1NG ON STRIPS OF RUBBER. THE TANK IS HELO DOWN BY TWO MOTORCYCLE TYPE T1E DOWN STRAPS. THIS ALLOWS THE TANK TO ABSORB AN IMPACT WITHOUT THE DANGER OF TEARING A HOLE IN THE TANK & SPILLING FUEL. THE HOOKS ARE REMOYED FROM THE ENDS OF THE STRAPS LEAYING A STITCHED LOOP ON THE ENDS. THE LOOP IS PASSED THROUGH THE HOLES IN THE TANK MOUNTS A AN M0x5O BOLT PASSED THROUGH THE LOOP TO RETAIN IT. ON EACH END OF THE BOLT FIT A FLAT WASHER UNDER THE HEAD TO STOP THE BOLT SLIPPING OUT.

FU EL TANK MOUNT PLATES ON THE INSłDE ARE POSITIONED FLUSH WITH THE INSIDE OF THE LOWER CHASSIS FRAME.

FUEL TANK MOUNT PLATES ON THE OUTSIDE ARE POSITIONED " FLUSH WITH THE OUTSIDE OF THE LOWER CHASSIS FRAME.
