Doncaster Leisure Park

This leisure and business park project is localed 1.5 miles east of Doncaster town center on 300 acres of derelict land, part of which is a disused airfield. Adjacent to the site are residential communities, new industrial development, a naturę reserve, a new recreauon center, and Doncaster Racecourse.

The master plan design centers on a 50-acre lakę which serves as a visual focus for the entire development, including business park facilities, leisure facilities, and an expanded residential district accommodating 300 new housing units in a variety of buildlng types with ancillary retail and community services.

A criucal component of the design is the extensively landscapcd parkland, which reuses poor-quality materiał found within the site, as well as excess materiał from the lakę excavadon. This creates a hilly area that provides shelter from prevailing winds, as well as visual interest for residents and visitors alike.
