TRANSMISSION AND CRANKSHAFT 8-11

INSTALLATION

Install the crankshaft and transmission in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following points:

CRANKSHAFT

♦ Jnstall the crankshaft into the left crankcase haJf with the spe-cial tool.

09910- 32812: Crankshaft installer

09911- 11310: Attachment

NOTĘ:

Do not hit the crankshaft with a hammer for installation.

TRANSMISSION

NOTĘ:

Seat the snap ring in the groove and iocate its end as shown in the iilustration.

•    Insert the driveshaft and countershaft with gears installed.

•    Apply transmission oil to the following parts:

Driveshaft    Countershaft

Transmission gears    Bearings

Gearshift forks    Gearshift shafts

Gearshift cam
