STANDING CHOKES
These chokes are shown standing. They can also be applied from kneeling position beside partner, or from sitting astride.
Fourth Choke: Knuckle Choke.
Grip: Grip high on partner's collar, fingers in-side jacket, puli forward to take up slack of cloth, Photo #1.
Choke is applied by levering action, rotating large knuckles into side of neck, press in with arms, Photo #2.
Fifth Choke: Loop Choke.
Grip: Jacket is held in normal, free style prac-tice position. Puli down with right hand, lowering partner slightly, Photo #3.
Maintain right hand grip, loop right arm over partner's head to place your right forearm at his neck; left hand switches grip to partner's left lapel, Photo #4.
Choke is applied by pulling down and against neck with right forearm and lifting up and out with left hand, Photo #5.
