ŻELAZA

Wstęp. Poniższe opracowanie ma na celu podjęcie próby określenia miejsca Pomorza w kontekście dalekosiężnych kontaktów z terenami naddunajskimi oraz wschodnioalpejskirni w młodszych fazach epoki brązu i we wczesnej epoce żelaza¹. Tematycznie jest ono jednak ograniczone do dwu zagadnień. W części pierwszej przedstawiam w krótkim zarysie najważniejsze, w przypadku Pomorza, opracowania kartograficzne, prezentujące kierunki oraz przebieg hipotetycznych szlaków. W części drugiej podejmuję próbę ustosunkowania się do kwestii, czy istotnie mamy prawo przyjmować dotychczasowe propozycje, włączające bezpośrednio ten obszar w obręb dalekosiężnych kontaktów handlowych z obszarem dunąjsko-alpejskim, czy też dla terenu Pomorza przyjąć należy inny charakter tego typu powiązań wymiennych oraz towarzyszących im oddziaływań kulturowych.

Jednym ze szczegółowych celów niniejszego opracowania jest również poddanie krytyce tezy o wielkiej roli.bursztynu w tej wymianie. Nawiązuję tu do podobnych zastrzeżeń krytycznych, jakie J. Jensen (1965, s. 43 nnj wysunął w stosunku do panującego w literaturze przeświadczenia o wielkiej roli bursztynu z Jut landu w ciągu całej epoki brązu 0— VI okres) w kontaktach dalekosiężnych z dorzeczem Dunąju, ograniczonej faktycznie tylko do faz wczesnych (1 II). Drugą kwestią, którą poddaję tu pod dyskusję jest to, czy zespół Gorszewice-Komorowo
