The pattern and color reminiscent of an autumn crocus.

By popular demand, I try myself at an English translation. The instructions I have kept short and concise. (Aufvielfachen Wunsch versuche ich mich an einer englische Ubersetzung. Cerne arbeite ich Verbesserungsvorschlage ein. Ich habe die Anleitung kurz und pragnant gehalten.)

Yarn:

3 skeins Tupa - Mirasol colorway 806 50 grams = 125 meters/1.76 ounces = 137 yards

Needle size:

US 7 - 4.5 mm

Gauge after blocking:

14 stitches and 26 rows are A“/10 cm in garter stitches.

Finished measurements after blocking:

Wingspan along 647160 cm.

From cast on along center stitch, to bind off l2"/30 cm.

Lacy pattern at the chart:

2 + 17 X 20 + 1 + 2 = 345 stitches

Let's begin:

Loosely cast on 345 stitches.

Work row 1-40 of the Chart; 209 stitches remainingon needles.

Work short rows: http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2009/10/short-rows-method.html (number 3 b).

RS knit, WS '1 k, 5 p* rep, end with l p.

Row 41: k 111, tum.

Row 42: wrap yarn to right-hand needle, l p, 5 k, l p, 5 k, l p (13 stitches), tum.

Row 43: wrap yarn to right hand needle, 13 k, 'k2tog, 5 k, (19 stitches), turn.

Row 44: wrap yarn to right-hand needle, 1 p, 5 k, 1 p, 5 k, 1 p, 5 k, 1 p, k2tog, 4 k, 1 p (25 stitches), turn. Row 45, 47,49, 51, 53,...: as row 43.

Row 46, 48, 50, 52, 54,...: as row 44.

Last row (RS): bind of with l-cord.
