Step 1

CUT your stitching so it’s three times longer than you need. Position your stitching on the bottom third. Cut your evenweave to a point, which lines up with the centre of the design.

Step 2

CUT a piece of white fabric to the same size. With right sides in. sew around, sandwiching ribbon at the point. Turn and slip stitch. Fold into thirds and slip stitch the sides.

CUT your stitching and a second piece to 4cm longer and wider than your desired finished shape. Make a lcm fold to the reverse on both long sides of each piece and hem.

Step 2

FOLD the top edges under and sew, creating a channel. Sew around the sides and bottom, stopping just before the channels. Turn right sides out and add ribbon.
