and thought I would send you a picture as I’m so very proud of it. I usually never do anything with the pieces I complete, and many pieces end up staying in my ‘done’ pile. But sińce finishing this I’m now determined to finish everything I do. My 11-year-old daughter Octavia also recently completed a cushion front the smaller sausage dog designs from the same project.This was her first piece but she’s fmding this new hobby a bit addictive! I thought you might like to see a photo ofmy finished compact mirror pouch that came free with issue 237 (below). I decided to adapt the design and chose a smali design from one of your recent Buy it, Stitch it features, but using the thread that came in the pouch kit. I think it tumed out really well. The big bonus was that the mirror had travelled

Say it with cross stitch

Every time I see cards in the shops with funny sayings on them I wish someone would come up with some similar ones in cross stitch that I can make for birthdays and other occasions.

So thank you, CrossStitcher, for these lovely card designs in issue 239 (below).They’ve gone down a storm with my friends and family, and I’ve now started using the letters to create my own sayings too. Morę mad ąuotations and funky typefaces, please —
