To secure a strong, well inoulded neck, it is necessary lo develop morę than the inuscles which are usually included under ihe heading" neck mnsclcs."
Strengthen the pectorals or chcst group; this tan be done by taking the exercises shown iti Figs. 26 and 27.
Next widen and deepen the thorax. (See Figs. 30 and 31.)
Pay some attention to the upper back by taking the exer-cises scen in Figs. 46 and 47.
Now spend quite a little time willi the neck itself. Fig. 10 will show a sirople raethod of using a head strap which can be easily madę, wliile Fig. u will show another method of pulting the work on the neck without the use of the strap.
