Write and speak

7 a Show Ss the sentences and ask them to copy these into their notebooks. They should work alone to complete the sentences so that they are true for them. Then Ss should compare their answers in pairs. b Ask Ss to write about themselves and their partners. Encourage them to use linkers and to remember the third person ‘s’.

Ask a few pairs to read their texts aloud to the class or use them for a wali display.
