REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT DOOR LOCK

TOOLING



[1] : chisel ground to an angle of 30 odeg.

REMOVAL



Remove
:


THE TRIM PAD



THE LOWER OPENING CONTROL



Detach the sealing sheet at the rear section, Carefully
.


Remove the part (1)
.


Using the tool [1], cut the rivet heads (2)
.


Disconnect the connector (3)
.


Remove the burglar-proof cover (4)
.


Remove the fasteners (5)
.


Remove the burglar-proof cover (6) via the opening (A)
.


Remove the fasteners (7)
.


Detach the lock assembly (8) via the door inner panel gap
.


Remove the locking clip (9)
.


Release the bolt (10) from the bracket (11)
.


Remove the bolt (10) from its housing
.

3 -
REFITTING



Position the lock in its location
.

IMPERATIVE :
retrieve the rivets which have fallen in the base of the door
.


Proceed in the reverse order to removal
.

IMPERATIVE :
if the sealing sheet is torn, replace it
.


Check the operation
.
