Hp Pavilion i Linux .błedy .m.in. Mandriva nvidia driver

Witam
Posiadam hp pavilion 9720us od tygodnia usiluje zainstalować Linux na dysku usb 160gb.
1. Ubuntu -grub błąd 22
2. Madriva 2008 - nie uruchamia sie
zatrzymuje się na" ładowanie nazwy hosta - ok" i później już nic dalej sie nie dzieje
3. Fedora problem ze sterownikami nvidia , komenda urpmi "comand not found"
4. Zainstalowałem Madriva 2009 final x64 i wszystko sie instaluje , uruchamia , problem pojawia sie przy instalacji sterowników nvidia do karty geforce Go 7150M
a) Pobrałem sterowniki : NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-173.14.09-pkg2.run
b) Pojawiały sie bledy z gcc , make i te poinstalowalem
c) jednak pojawily sie kolejne błedy

Czy ktoś mial do czynienia z takim błędem doczynienia ?
Linux jest mi konieczny do nauki bardzo bym prosił o w miare szybką pomoc.

Doinstaluj kernel source zgodny z twoim kernelem :
sprawdź wersję uname -r , rpm -qa|grep kernel
potem instalacja przez urpmi
