The Greek word is untranslated in most lectionaries and F A L W: this observation contradicts the thesis that older MSS simply transliterate difficult Greek words and that ”pure Slavic" formations stem from morę recent datę (cf. also notę 208 on 2Cor. 11, 32, Sunday, Week 19).
