BASIC PIYOTS FOR THROWING
Third Pivot: From facing stance, Thrower places
left foot in front of Receiver's left foot, weight on bali of left foot, Photo #1.
Pivot on bali of left foot, cross right foot in front of body, place right foot in front of Receiver's right foot, Photo #2.
Complete pivot and place body in same position as for First Pivot.
Fourth Pivot: Thrower begins pivot standing off-
side, his left foot in front of Receiver's left foot, Photo #3.
Crossing right foot in front of body, pivot on bali of left foot, place right foot in front of Receiver's right foot, Photo #4.
Position for throw same as First Pivot.
Fifth Pivot: Thrower begins pivot off-side, right foot in front of Receiver's right foot, Photo #5.
Crossing left foot behind body, pivot on bali of right foot, place left foot in front of Receiver's left foot, Photo #6.
Position for throw same as First Pivot.
Notę: An advantage of Pivots #4 & #5 is the fact that only one step is taken to place Thrower into position, instead of two steps reąuired for other s.
